Memory of a Forest is an installation in an emergency medical station in the Bronx, New York. The vestibule of the building becomes a meditative buffer zone for its workers who must face severe medical cases on a daily basis. The installation works with a double-sided mirror system that multiplies the miniature sculptures of de St. Croix, creating a virtual forest within the small space.
Public art project, in collaboration with artist Blane de St. Croix, first prize, under construction.
