Situated within a landmarked building in Soho, this project created a unified living space by removing the mezzanine level, resulting in an open and connected layout. The uniqueness of this penthouse lies in its deliberate choice to forego the presence of doors within its interior. This design decision challenges the traditional notion of privacy and creates a seamless flow throughout the space. The penthouse is divided into two distinct areas. The first area features eight stone types incorporated into the walls, drawers, entrance doors, staircases, showers, and kitchen. The second area uses reclaimed wood sourced from England, which has been repurposed for the flooring. Natural light floods the central space through a central skylight from the triple-height space.
