Three Moments in the History of the Gaze

Bringing together the nazar, the panopticon, and the domestic ritual of altın günü, this installation examines how acts of seeing and being seen shape social and architectural space. Through two drawings and two models, it explores how protection, exposure, and collective observation intertwine in everyday and institutional forms of the gaze. The installation was on view at Summart Gallery in October-November 2025 and was part of Seda Gazioglu's exhibition The Book of the Gaze.
Multi-media installation in collaboration with Gazioglu.
